The MeSH consortium is tasked with fostering current and new partnerships to work towards improving HIV measurement. In 2016, we convened a number of platforms for knowledge translation, and for bridging research to in-country data-driven policy implementation. The series of dissemination activities we have taken forward have provided a platform for us to evolve ideas and solutions, to identify and foster a community of practise, and to share and further develop our research.

The most significant of these activities were the two sessions we convened during the 21st International AIDS Conference in Durban, South Africa and the MeSH scientific symposium in Tallinn, Estonia. These meetings in turn built on the platform of the 3rd Global Consultation Meeting on HIV Surveillance held in Bangkok in May 2015.

The second scientific symposium will be held in Johannesburg in November 2017, details coming soon.
